ANNOUNCING:

April Events - New Braunfels Concrete Overlays Seminar, and ACPA Concrete 101 in Austin

The ongoing "Selection, Design and Construction of Concrete Overlays in Texas" seminar series will continue April 15, 2009, at the New Braunfels Civic Center.  Details available on the Seminars page.

Also, from April 27 to 29, the ACPA Concrete Pavements 101 - Design Construction and Rehabilitation of Concrete Pavements course will be taught at the Austin Embassy Suites.  This highly regarded course presents the theory and practice of designing and constructing concrete pavements.

 

ANNOUNCING:

Selection, Design and Construction of Concrete Overlays for City Streets and Local Roads

The Cement Council of Texas, The Texas Concrete Pavement Association, The Texas Aggregate and Concerete Association, and the City of Fort Worth present this new workshop on February 9, 2009.  Government employees may attend free, all others must pay $25.  5 PDH hours will be awarded.

ANNOUNCING:

THE FIFTH TxDOT/CCT CONCRETE PAVING CONFERENCE

The Cement Council of Texas, with the Texas Department of Transportation and sponsoring agencies, the Federal Highway Administration, the Texas Concrete Pavement Association, Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute, and Texas Aggregate and Concrete Association, will present the 2008 TxDOT/CCT Concrete Paving Conference at the The Commons Center at UT Austin on November 12 -13, 2008. The conference is designed to cover the best practices of concrete pavement design and construction.

The conference planners have assembled an outstanding panel of concrete paving experts to address design, construction, maintenance, and the latest advancements in concrete paving in Texas. Concurrent sessions will feature bridges and other concrete structures, and the "how to" of building concrete pavements. Continuing Education Units will be awarded.

This conference is a must for the design, construction, and operations personnel of the Texas DOT, cities and counties, consulting engineers, contractors, and equipment and material suppliers interested in concrete pavement design, construction, and maintenance.
