| Full-Scale Bonded Concrete Overlay on IH-30 in Fort Worth, Texas | 1998, revised 2000 | TxDOT, University of Texas, FHWA | Treviño, M., McCullough, B.F., & Krauss, T. | The main objective of this project is to evaluate the technical and economical feasibility of an expedited bonded concrete overlay (BCO) of an urban section of IH-30 in Fort Worth and to monitor its performance. The report presents a strategy to expedite the BCO in conjunction with the widening of the road. The economic analysis included in the report shows the feasibility of implementing a BCO in lieu of a full-depth reconstruction. |
